He also served as narrator for TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress for over 14 seasons and was the voice of Los Angeles’ KROQ 106.7 FM for over a decade.

Born in Michigan and raised in Orange County, California, Smith trained in musical theater as a child and earned a B.A. in Screenwriting from Chapman University in 2003. Before and during college, Smith worked as a professional stand-up comic, before transitioning to acting full-time in 2005. Roger maintains a family-friendly, apolitical social media presence, is learning American Sign Language and spends his free time immersed in the outdoors—hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, as well as photographing wildlife, nightscapes and astrophotography. Roger regularly supports multiple charities throughout the year, is an active advocate and delegate for the 501(c)(3) Dark Sky International and enjoys sharing his photographs from the outdoors with fans online.
